Hello and welcome to my site. My name is Tyler McGrath, I am a freelance Web Designer and SEO Specialist. I am located in South Florida, particularly the Palm Beach County area. After graduating from Florida State University I worked at companies that sharpened my skills and taught me the business aspect of web design and internet marketing. Although learning many new things, there were restrictions of what I could do and who I can do it for. Going on my own allows me the freedom to create all different kinds of sites for all different kinds of people. I first started out with friends and family but that quickly changed as I saw the need for more and more people wanting websites.
My Objective
My main objective is to create simple, easy to navigate websites, at a price anyone can afford. Now a days if you own a business and you don’t have a website, then you simply aren’t going to get seen. Whether your a small business, mom and pop, or fortune 500 company, you need to have a web presence. That’s why I make it easy for your company, organization, online portfolio, etc to be seen by the billions of people on the internet everyday.
Why am I going to be cheaper?
Most people don’t know the cost and time it takes for someone to build a website. I use the content management system know as WordPress for most of my sites. This allows me for quick setup time and easy customization of the templates. WordPress also makes it easy for clients to log into the back-end and make any changes to their pages in a couple of steps. Other fully hand coded sites make it impossible for the client to make any changes and would require the designer which would cost you money. WordPress also is very SEO (Search Engine Optimization) friendly. I have been using WordPress for years now and will install all the necessary plugins and features so your site will be ranked highest for whichever keywords you provide me.
Working on my own also allows for me to cut down a lot of the fees you would usually be paying for a web design company. I don’t have any employees or office space that those companies have, so this allows me to be completely self-sufficient. I can offer the same services as those other companies, but for a fraction of the cost.
Getting Personal
My favorite part of being able to do web design on my own is the personal attention I can give my clients. When in an office environment, you are told what to do, and who to do it for. You have to speak to three different people and write numerous e-mails just to get a word changed. Well working freelance allows me the freedom to just call up my client or have them call me if there is any problem I need to take care of. I usually set up meetings if the client is nearby so I can meet them personally and talk to them face-to-face and go over the project that they want done. This definitely allows for better communication and overall a smoother process.
